Born and raised in Queens, New York, DJ Tyler grew up around the turntables, learning the craft from his father and developing a philosophy that still guides him today: put the crowd first. What began behind the decks grew through college campuses and New York nightlife into professional radio. Today, Tyler is a producer on Nessa On Air at HOT 97, with experience across SiriusXM, Sway In The Morning, DJ Whoo Kid’s Whoo’s House, Statik Selektah's ShowOff Radio and X96.3 FM, while continuing to build his career as an open-format DJ.

Playing nightlife, private events and special events across the New York City and Tri-State Area.
Hip-Hop and Latin music are at the essence of who I am. Growing up in New York taught me not to think about music in one lane. Years of playing different crowds have made me an open-format DJ who can move comfortably across Hip-Hop, Latin, R&B, Caribbean, Afrobeats, Dance and beyond, with the goal of understanding the room and keeping them coming back.
Crowd first. Always.
A look at how I adapt across different settings, from college events and nightlife to special-event crowds, while keeping the energy connected to the people in front of me.
The best conversations start with preparation, but they come alive when you listen. Knowing when to leave the prep sheet behind and follow the conversation somewhere more meaningful is where the real connection happens.
A conversation that became bigger than the questions, connecting person to person, despite one of us being a lifelong fan and the other being a legend.
Radio experiences that pushed me to grow behind the board, on the mic and everywhere in between.
From nightlife and private events to radio and social media, let’s connect and create.
